The most affordable of legendary framebuilder-to-the-stars Dario Pegoretti’s creations, the 8:30am (named for the time Dario starts building every morning and his favorite Weather Report album) is patterned directly after the pro issue Love #3 frame. However, instead of using extra-resilient and super light Scandium tubing, the 8:30 uses a 7005 aluminum alloy, Columbus Altec II. The result is a frame that weighs a mere 1/2 lb more than the Love and has a bit less road grip. Yet, it retains the legendary Pegoretti ride at a price that is unsurpassed for a frame of this superb quality.

This 8:30am is equipped with a smattering of Campy parts, Record cranks, cassette, chain, seat post, and bottom bracket. Centaur derailleurs and shifters. Campy Vento wheelset, Deda bar and stem. Selle Italia SLK saddle. A Reynolds Ouzo carbon fiber fork and CHris King Headset finish things off.

Superbly comfortable (for aluminum) and responsive. Nicks and scratches as you would expect from general wear and tear.
